Top Coaching Centers for IITJEE

While preparing for JEE Exam, majority of the portion of success depends on the child but showing the path for that success is made by the coaching institute and teachers inside them. Teachers are the one that makes a coaching institute good or bad. There are thousands of coaching institutes all over India for JEE, so if you are confused which would be best for your preparations so then you are at right place.
So here is my list of Top Ten Coaching Institutes for JEE in India -

1. VIBRANT ACADEMY (KOTA) -

Vibrant Academy was started in the year 2010 for mentoring the students who have been aspiring to get into IIT. It was started by 7 HoDs of various top institutes of Kota to prepare students for engineering entrance examinations. The institute has an innovative methodology for teaching students which help them to easily grab the concepts and crack difficult questions. The newly developed courses by the institute create a comfortable learning atmosphere and it stimulates the student’s mentality for cracking the examinations. The institute has shown excellence with many students among top 50 in the JEE examinations in recent years. Headquartered in Kota, Vibrant Academy’s selection % is 52% in 2017 for JEE (Advanced). You will find all the top faculties here such as Sir MS Chauhan, Narendra Awasthi and many more...

2. FIITJEE (DELHI) -

FIITJEE has been a favorite destination for various competitive exams. It provides an ideal launch pad for serious JEE aspirants. Fiitjee also responds well to student complaints and issues and Fiitjee results shows that. Fiitjee AITS test series is considered to be the best test series. They can even change the faculty if required. The faculties are highly skilled and provide ample amount of time to clear your doubts. You can have individual doubt sessions if required. The only problem is that they sometimes go beyond the difficulty levels of Jee exams. Fiitjee fee structure is also same as other coachings of its level. If you wish to take a coaching near Delhi area then Fiitjee South Delhi is the best choice.

3. ALLEN (KOTA) -

Allen started off as a pre-medical coaching institute in 1988. Fast forward 18 years, and it has become one of the most reputed names in JEE coaching. From just one branch in Kota, Rajasthan, it has expanded to cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Surat, Ranchi, Ahmedabad and a few other places. In JEE Advanced 2016, Allen produced 25 in the top 100 and also 4 in the top 10.

4. RESONANCE (KOTA) -

With its foundation in 2001, Resonance has come a long way. With 12 classroom program study centres across the country, 300+ full time faculty members out of which 25% faculty members are from the IITs, and with the highest number of students qualifying for JEE Advance from a single institute in India; this coaching institute has the power to provide future IITians and doctors to the nation.

5. SRI CHAITANYA AND NARAYANA (HYDERBAD) -

Narayana is the one of the renowned names when it comes to engineering coaching institutes. With centres in 17 major cities including Delhi, the institute offers researched study materials along with experienced teachers. With nearly 400+ selections in JEE Mains and 200+ selections in JEE Advance, this institute never failed to impress students.

6. SUPER 30 (PATNA) -

Fascination towards Mathematics and a will to help economically poor students with IIT dreams paved the way for Super 30. Based in Patna, Super 30 comprises of 30 talented students with a goal to make it big. So far, Super 30's track record has been amazing by delivering 100% success rate as all its 30 students cracked IIT for three consecutive years: 2008, 2009 and 2010.

7. AAKASH (NEW DELHI) -

Based in Delhi, Aakash coaching gets hefty competition from Fiitjee and Vidyamandir Classes, but it has given some good results. The result is from all over India centers, so the selection from the Delhi center is far less. The faculty team in Aakash is good, if not excellent.

8. VIDYAMANDIR (NEW DELHI) -

Vidyamandir classes or VMC is run by a group of ex-IITians, who have over the years, guided thousands of IIT aspirants to fulfilling their dreams of getting into the top-ranked IITs in the country. VMC claimed 48 ranks in the top 1000, in JEE Advanced 2016.

9. IITIAN PACE (MUMBAI) -

Pace IIT is growing fast and has improved its selections dramatically in last few years. IITians Pace results have been fantastic.  800+ students have cracked Jee Advanced and 1700+ students have cracked Jee main. A nice institute for toppers, wherein you can actually study in the college run by your institute itself rather than joining an integrated course. You will be groomed well if you are a topper/above average student, but for students below that, the scenario is not that great. It has continuously produced Rank 1 from Maharashtra. So, if you wish to study in  Mumbai, you can certainly go for it.

10. MOTION IITJEE (KOTA) -

Motion Kota has brilliant faculties. 600+ students have cracked Jee advanced and 1800+ students have cracked Jee mains. They take good care of all the students and the students are allowed attend classes of any teacher they like. It also has individual classes i.e. you can take individual classes for every subject. It has got few good ranks in recent years. It is great for average student.

For any further queries you can ask via comments and also if you like or want to add something or give some suggestion, you are most welcome.

How many hours to study in a day for good rank in IIT JEE ?

This is one of the most asked question for a student who is preparing for competitive exams... That how many hours should he or she study to get a good rank
So I have analysed study plans of many students and their respective performances in the coaching and later wards in competitive exams. So I have came to conclusion that -

For every child study hours might differ according to their speed and grasping power... I have even seen students who just study for 2-3 hours daily and have secured rank under 1000 and even those who study 10-12 hours daily and secure ranks above 100000. So the major thing is that you should make your own study plans and should decide a day before only that what you want to do and means what are your tasks for tomorrow and then do study that according to that. But making plans doesn't means you make easy task plan... Try to increase your efficiency and ability to do work in a day. And one major thing its better to study for 2 hours with full concentration than studying for 5-6 hours with distractions of mobile, friends and all. So study according to your potential and whatever time you study, your full focus should be on studies nothing else.

If I talk for a normal student, I think studying for 5 hours with full concentration other than your coaching schedule or school for expecting a great rank.

So Keep Studying, Best Of Luck For Your Exams !!!
If you liked or want to give any suggestion please let me know through comments, till that Cheers !!

Interview of AIR 1 in IIT-JEE

Here are the Interview of AIR 1 in IIT-JEE of different years (2008-2012) -

                                 2008 (Arvind)

Q. Arvind, how you used to relax you after

 continuous study for long periods?

”Walking around in fresh air...."

Q. What were the things you used to keep in mind before taking any exam?

I used to formulate a strategy of order of solving problems - What level of hardness of problems I should start with and how to schedule them. Also an attempt to analyse all previous exam papers and keep track of silly mistakes one is likely to commit…

Q. What mistakes you commited during your prepartion?

A.1. Related to course : During earlier stages of prepartion, I tried to flood myself with lot of problems from lots of sources without even having my basic concepts clear.Clarity of concepts is absolutely important before solving problems.2. Related to exams: Must go into exams after proper rest.3. Related to revision: Trying to cover a lot of new material & ignoring those done long time ago.

Q. What is your view regarding revision… By what time students should be able to finish their prepartion and should start revision ?

A. I think revision is best done by taking a mix of new or untried( by self) problems from all topics of a subject and working them in timed exam like condition. In my opinion there need not be any hurry for starting revision, whenever started, the entire subject should have been completed.

Q. How many hours you think one should devote daily for prepartion ?

A. I won’t like to suggest number of daily hours of study -as long as one is gaining enough confidence in solving problems.

Q. What was your idea about IIT before entering and what is your idea about it now ?

A. There is too much of hype surrounding IIT and IITians , in my case, all after all are human beings.

Q. When exactly you had started your prepartion ?

A. Soon after my class X examinations.

Q. Any thing you want to share from yourside that you think would be helpful for students preparing for IIT ?

A. Before jumping to problems ,pay full emphasis on concepts. Emphasis must be given to mock examinations to develop proper paper tackling approach.

Q. Which books you consider are must for prepartion ?

A.1. Mathematicsa. S L Loney -trignometry & coordinate geometryb. TMH- IIT Mathematics(esp algebra)c. M L Khanna -IIT Mathematics2. Physics a.Concepts of Physics(H C Verma)b.Problems in Physics (Abhay Kumar Singh) (the problems need to be selected)c.IIT Physics - Oswal Publishers (for problems)d.Resnick & Haliday ( for conceptual clarification in some topics)3. Chemistrya.IIT Chemistry -O P Agarwalb.Schaum’s series -Organic Chemistryc.Solamons(don’t remember book name) (for organic chemistry)

Q. Any comment regarding the various correspondence coaching materials available ?

A.a. Brilliants Y G Files for years 1989-1993 b. FITJEE GMP packagec. Apex Academy (esp mathematics)

          2009 (Nitin Jain)

                                            No interview taken

      2010 (Anumula  Jithendar Reddy)

How does it feel?

I am so happy. I have worked hard for the last two years. It feels very nice to see the result. I was very nervous before the exam. Before going into the exam hall, I took 10 minutes off and thought of all the good times I’ve had and relaxed. After that I wrote the exam and it has worked so well. I was thrilled to see the result.
From when did you nurture the IIT dream?
My father A Ramachander Reddy is an NIT professor and my mother, T Shobha, is a teacher in a government school. So, education runs in my family. From my childhood, I was focused and interested in competitive exams. So writing the JEE was almost an obvious choice.
How did you prepare?
A lot of students from my college have got admission to the IITs. I was also studying for it, but did not take it very seriously in my +1. Then, I saw one of my seniors, Gopi Sivakanth. He secured an All India Rank of 3 last year in the JEE. So, he was like an inspiration for me. I studied seriously in my +2 year.
I stay at the hostel, so I never really studied for 10 hours or 12 hours. My hostel mates and I would spend a lot of time chitchatting but when we studied, we were very dedicated and serious about it. That really worked. I have always been interested in physics, so that wasn’t very difficult. But I was weak in chemistry so I focused on learning that subject very well. I would clear doubts I had from my professors. I think, in the JEE, I did my chemistry well and that gave me an edge.
My parents have also been very supportive. They gave me my space and did not interfere in my studies. They got me the books that I needed and took good care of my health. It was only in the month of February this year that I decided that I wanted a single digit rank. I was confident of ranking in the top 100, but once I set the goal for a single digit rank, I worked quite hard.
Any tips for students aspiring to take the JEE?1. JEE isn’t so hard. Many feel that it is a difficult exam and give up because they feel they won’t get through. They should just go with an open mind and attempt the exam.
2. Be relaxed and write the exam.
3. Chemistry plays a dominant role. Make sure you study that subject well. If you finish the chemistry section in half an hour, you can give extra time to other subjects while writing the exam.
Your career plans?
I am interested in physics. I am looking at joining IIT-Mumbai and majoring in ECE while physics will be the minor subject. The reason I am looking at IIT-Mumbai is because some of my friends and I decided to go there and I am in touch with some professors there. Also, there are a few of my seniors there as well.

                                                Interview of Anumula Jithendar Reddy

                                      2011 (Prudhvi Tej)

What were your preparation strategies for JEE?
Prudhvi Tej: I started preparing for JEE 2011 from when I was in class 11th, right kind of planning from day one and time management was my strategy to crack JEE. I made a time table, prepared according to the plan and spent equal time for all three subjects. I concentrated more on weaker subjects and spent more time in revising Chemistry as I was not confident in this subject.
What are your Future Plans?
Prudhvi Tej: I am interested in pursuing Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and want to be an IAS Officer and work hard for it.
What are your hobbies?
Prudhvi Tej: Playing cricket and badminton are my favorite pass time.
Did you sacrifice on your hobbies while preparing for JEE 2011?
Prudhvi Tej: I missed out on following IPL Matches and watching many movies which I am covering up now but I used to play for atleast 45 mins in a day to keep myself active and fresh.
What Preparation Strategies would you suggest for JEE candidates?
Prudhvi Tej: I would suggest the upcoming JEE aspirants to have positive attitude and plan for preparations well before and study according to the plan and teachers guidance, which leads to success.
Finally, one word/line to describe your success
Prudhvi Tej: ‘Positive attitude and being planned’.

                                               Interview of Prudhvi Tej

                            2012 (Arpit Agrawal)

Any tips for juniors?
Arpit Agarwal, JEE 2012 topper quiet confidently advises his juniors, “Plan your time well. Choose a good institute or a good teacher and keep full faith in your teachers. At the same time remember you are the only one responsible for your future. Formulate your plan, convey it to your teachers and seek support from them.”
How are your parents feeling?
Extremely happy child of proud parents, he said “they are obviously really excited. They didn’t express it front of me, but I know they are overjoyed.”
Was this a Herculean task?
“No, it wasn’t a Herculean task. I don’t say I am the most intelligent in the country, I m not most hard working boy nor am I the luckiest, perhaps, I m the best combination of all and that clicked for me.”
Your traits that helped you achieve this success?
“Sincerity and proper planning. I never worried about what I can’t do, I just had my plans fine tuned and that used to be my consistent motive. People wanted first and second rank but I wanted to do the best I can do and didn’t bothers about what others do. Planning in my mind helped me.’
What plans next?
“I am eyeing upon Computer science from IIT Delhi, but am yet to finalise the plan. These four years I would focus upon improving my personality and communication skills.”
